About The 2008 Student Digital Art And Design Contest
Contest Coordinators
Pat Watson is a senior design instructor at CSUMB and is an internationally exhibited and published digital artist. He has recently added 3D modeling to his course curriculum. Pat is the founder of the Student Digital Art and Design Contest and is also an active member with the Marina Arts Council. He will be overseeing contest coordination and is one of Jason's academic advisors.

Jason Spencer is a instructional technology student in the Telecommunications, Multimedia, and Applied Computing, Bachelor of Science program at CSUMB. He is also a seasoned mobile disc jockey, performing annually at more than 70 weddings and other events from Monterey Bay to San Francisco bay. Management and promotion (including this web site) or the 2008 Student Digital Art and Design Contest is the focus of his Senior Capstone project for graduation from CSUMB.

This design contest is being co-sponsored and hosted by the School of Information Technology and Communication Design at California State University, Monterey Bay. The Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications, Multimedia, and Applied Computing provides a broad-based understanding or current technologies and applications. Students of this degree program graduate with an emphasis in one of seven disciplines, including: Visual Design, Digital Animation, Interactive Media and Game Design, Web Design and Development, Instructional Design, Software Development or Networking.
